Funker Vogt

Named after a close friend of Gerrit who was a radio air operator (which translates, in German, as "Funker Vogt") in the Deustche armed forces, Funker Vogt have already released three full length CDs, one twin EP, one EP, and one single since their 1995 inception. They have appeared on no less than eight compilations (including Electropolis, Electro Club Attack: Shot Two, New Violent Breed, and We Came To Dance 2000) and were tapped by Front 242 to do one of the re-mixes on the Headhunter 2000 CD.

Often compared to bands such as Leaether Strip and :wumpscut:, Funker Vogt 's aggressive electronic style is based upon old EBM strategies, albeit mixed with more modern electro and industrial elements, similar to KMFDM. It is this sound that often makes people refer to their music as being "back to the basics" of the genre. Stripped down power play electronics, Funker Vogt utilize a strong sense of melody within powerful rhythms, emphatic dance beats and distorted vocals.

Decoded Feedback

Decoded Feedback burst on to the industrial scene in the mid 1990s with the highly acclaimed self-titled demo tape Decoded Feedback. This creative duo brought together all the elements and contrasts that exist between the sexes, and at the same time using their diverse backgrounds, European and Canadian, to successfully create their own unique sound. This proved to be a powerful combination. After an amazing review in Belgium's Side-Line magazine, Decoded Feedback was picked up immediately by one of Europe's leading industrial labels, Hard Records. After their album release "Combustion" in 2005, the Canadian duo had to venture forth along a twisted alley full of private setbacks. But as is often the case, personal crises can trigger the strongest creative energies. Crackling with such renewed powers, Decoded Feedback now unleash "Aftermath", an utterly remarkable and intense album.
